Rick Henneberg is the President, Founder and the Managing Broker at Keel Commercial Real Estate, LLC, a Washington, DC metropolitan area commercial real estate firm specializing in real estate brokerage and consulting services.
Keel Commercial Real Estate’s client services include tenant and owner leasing representation, investment and land sales.
During Rick’s 30-year real estate career he has continuously been recognized as a top producer in the Washington, DC metro area, having leased and sold in excess of 7 million square feet of office, flex/warehouse and land. Prior to launching Keel Commercial Real Estate, Rick was a partner at Summit Commercial Real Estate for 13 years where he successfully built, managed and grew the Virginia office. Prior to Summit, Rick served as Managing Director and Vice President at two of the largest U.S. based multi-national commercial real estate firms (Cushman & Wakefield and CB Richard Ellis).
Rick has extensive expertise working with State, Government and County officials, local zoning, engineering and other CRE business segments. Rick’s East Coast market knowledge and transactional experience has made him a trusted and reliable advisor to many institutions and corporations, on a repeat basis. His body of work includes non-profit, 501C3 entities and associations, universities, student housing developers, religious organizations/churches, defense/govt. contracting, fortune 500, corporate IT and technology, law firms, retail, medical and emerging/start-ups.
Rick has been active with the Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Business Alliance of George Mason University. He has served on the Arts Board at George Mason University and been a guest speaker at George Mason’s School of Management.
A native of Ohio, Rick is a 1985 graduate of Ashland University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Rick also completed advanced legal coursework in commercial real estate, benefiting his clients through review, analysis and negotiation of their real estate holdings & transactions.
